After high school, I traveled throughout India and returned inspired to become a craftsperson. After several apprenticeships, I became frustrated with the inherent design constraints of traditional crafts and returned to university where I studied under the tutelage of Jere Osgood and Alphonse Matia earning a BFA in design at Boston University's Program in Artisanry. My work has been shown in museums including The American Craft Museum, The Rhode Island School of Design Museum, and The Portland Museum of Art. It has been published in magazines including the Architectural Record. Additionally, I was a featured artist in Patricia Conway's book, Art for Everyday: the New Craft Movement.  My work has been seen in New York galleries including Pritam and Eames and the Leo Kaplin Gallery.  I currently work in my Kennebunk, Maine studio where I share my home with my wife, two children, a falcon and two dogs.
